Prerequisites: Electrical Safety for Qualified Electrical Workers training course.

Course Learning Objective:

  • Focusing on medium-voltage applications
  • How to assemble all the components of an electrical safety program into a practical job plan
  • Hazard identification and risk assessment
  • Absence of voltage testing of medium-voltage switchgear
  • Grounding of medium-voltage switchgear
  • Changing medium-voltage air-switch fuses
  • Inserting and removing (racking) medium-voltage circuit breakers
  • Inspection of PPE and arc-rated clothing
