Gary Hill

Gary Hill – COO

Gary Hill is the Chief Operating Officer at Shermco, where he is inspired by the vibrant energy and unwavering dedication of the workforce united in solving client challenges. With a robust background in nuclear power, oil and gas, and heavy industry, Gary has collaborated with both public and private enterprises globally. His decade-long experience as COO of a public company underscores his commitment to diversifying customer and market engagement, ensuring flawless execution, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Known for his attentive listening, decisiveness, and strategic thinking, he excels in developing and implementing effective strategies that drive growth with a strong emphasis on safety. Under his leadership, Shermco has achieved impressive growth through geographic restructuring to improve service offerings and foster collaboration between sales and operations teams. A strong advocate for integrity, teamwork, and trust-building, he believes accountability is vital for creating a high-performance team. Chris Duffell

Chris Duffell – CFO

Chris Duffell is an experienced finance and business services professional currently serving as the CFO of Shermco, where he focuses on building and nurturing client relationships while optimizing internal processes. With experience at United Rentals and HEPACO, he collaborates closely with the CEO, investment firms, and the leadership team to develop strategies and identify key business drivers that significantly enhance shareholder value. Chris is committed to fostering a collaborative team culture, driving profitable growth, and improving cash management and operational safety. His key achievements include talent recruitment, stakeholder relations, and successful acquisition integration. Chris aims to be a force multiplier, positioning Shermco for remarkable growth and success in the years ahead.

Outside of work, Chris is a family man with four children, two dogs, and two outdoor cats, while his wife actively nurtures a thriving bee population.

Kim Drake-Loy – CLO

Kim Drake-Loy, Chief Legal and Risk Officer for Shermco, is a dedicated professional known for her tenacity, assertiveness, and exceptional follow-through. With five years at Shermco, she has been instrumental in transforming the organization into well-structured entities, implementing a robust contract management system, creating a licensing program and enhancing data capture and reporting. Additionally, she has adeptly managed OSHA investigations and complex litigation. Her commitment to safety ensures that her team members return home safely each day, and she is a strong advocate for every voice within the company. Kim thrives in Shermco’s family-like culture, where she envisions substantial growth and aims to solidify the company’s position as an industry leader.

A graduate of Trinity University and Texas Tech School of Law, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband and dog, exemplifying a balanced and active lifestyle.

Dave Robertson

Dave Robertson – CHRO

Dave Robertson is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Shermco, where he helps drive transformational change and develops a scalable HR organization aligned with the company’s growth. With a background in soccer including professional play and involvement in the US national team program, Dave brings a competitive spirit and strong work ethic to his role. He emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and teamwork, believing that respect and empathy are vital for effective leadership. Under his guidance, Shermco aims to enhance its talent management practices and achieve business results by fostering a positive employee experience and strong employee engagement.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys time with his wife, four children, and three labradoodles, and is dedicated to maintaining personal health.

jack frost

Jack Frost – CSO

Jack Frost serves as the Chief Safety Officer and Senior EHS Vice President at Shermco, bringing decades of experience in safety leadership across the oil & gas, EPC, and electrical industries. Known for his strategic approach to safety management, Jack has a proven track record of implementing initiatives that improve performance while reducing costs. In a previous role, he successfully developed a safety strategy that saved $1.03 million in workers’ compensation costs within a year and achieved record-setting safety performance with the lowest Total Recordable Incident Rates in 2017 and 2018. His focus on building standardized, best-in-class safety programs has established him as a trusted leader in his field.

A Board-Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Jack is also an active member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and a Certified TapRooT instructor. Over the past 20 years, he has trained more than 2,000 people in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques, demonstrating his commitment to sharing knowledge and fostering growth. Jack attributes much of his professional success to his strong emphasis on relationships, analytical problem-solving skills, and a relentless drive for excellence. He believes that mindset and passion are critical to achieving success and continuously strives to inspire those around him to reach their full potential.

Outside of his professional life, Jack enjoys unwinding by playing the guitar, often performing intricate finger-picking styles inspired by artists such as James Taylor, the Eagles, and Jimmy Buffett. He also enjoys watching movies and spending quality time reflecting on ways to achieve personal and professional growth. Jack’s dedication to safety, his unwavering pursuit of excellence, and his ability to build meaningful relationships leaves a lasting impact on the organizations and people he works with.

Thiago Moraes – CCO

Thiago Moraes is an accomplished executive with 28 years of experience in strategic planning, sales leadership, marketing, business development, project management, and consultative selling. With a career rooted in the energy industry, he has demonstrated a proven track record of forming and developing high-performing marketing and sales teams, resulting in consistent revenue and profit growth. Thiago’s expertise spans the electrical distribution and power generation sectors, where his ability to create innovative business strategies and foster strong value-based selling has made him a trusted leader in the field.

As the Chief Commercial Officer at Shermco, Thiago is focused on driving exponential growth and positioning the company as a market leader in electrical service reliability and safety. Under his leadership, Shermco has refined its sales processes, implemented a structured cadence for national account management, and aligned resources with regional growth strategies. Thiago is passionate about creating a collaborative and transparent work environment where employees feel inspired, valued, and motivated to contribute to the company’s vision.
