Our COVID-19 Response
At Shermco, we provide essential services to ensure the reliability of critical infrastructure when it matters most. From powering hospitals to maintaining supply chains and delivering essential goods and services, our technicians and engineers are on the frontlines during the COVID-19 crisis to support our customers.
Since the onset of this crisis, Shermco has been deemed an essential business by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for our work in the this critical industry. In following the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s guidance for critical infrastructure businesses, we quickly developed new procedures to adapt to this crisis. We have been in the field and in the shop around the clock, supporting our customers and their critical infrastructure throughout this time, while maintaining a safe work environment for our employees.
We take these roles seriously, along with our responsibility for the safety of our coworkers, customers, contractors and community. This commitment to safety – one of Shermco’s Core Principles – drives everything we do.
Since the onset of this crisis, we’ve implemented new safety procedures, including:
- Moving to remote work and staggered shifts when possible
- Utilizing best practices for physical distancing in shared workspaces and on job sites
- Ensuring access to adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all employees and vendors
- Mandatory daily health screenings
Trust Shermco to keep your essential systems running – safely and efficiently.
